Preferred Internet pages, Favourites folders and frequently used programmes can be opened in seconds at the touch of a button and without any further required prompting or tedious "through-clicking". Keys can even be allocated with text macros and key combinations. Additional function keys are located on the right and left edges of the keyboard. Meanwhile, the tried and tested members of the key family are still there, in addition to this helpful enhancement. 19 additional extra keys for MultiMedia management or Internet use are located at welltested locations above and below the standard keys. You can save even more time using the separate @ key for convenient e-mail writing.

Using the software package included with delivery, it is quick and simple to individually allocate and inscribe the ten XPress keys of the Cherry VARIO KEY. Keys can be configured with preferred commands using the KeyM@n software, including under Linux, and then organised according to personal preferences with the help of the Label Designer software. In addition to text entry for inscription, it is also possible to select and print out a favourite picture or graphic from the files located on the computer. Labels are protected from dirt and friction beneath the hinged button caps of the XPress keys.
