Todays versatile applications for switches demand special product solutions. One specific requirement is the ability to ensure that the contacts will be opened in case of switching inductive loads, such as for motors and drives. With these targets in mind, Cherry engineers started the development the new DZ-switch.
The heart of the new DZ-switch is its positive break action contact systems. The major advantage of this contact system is that the “positive break action” comes into operation if the contacts might get welded or clotted due to high inductive loads.
This characteristic makes the DZ-switch an ideal solution for switching all kind of electrical drives. No matter if for sun-blinds or linear drives for adjustable hospital and home devices. Also for direct drives in engines or automatic doors, the DZ-switch is a safe and reliable product.
Designed for use in a temperature range from –20 to +85 degree Celcius, the DZ-switch is able to take high inductive loads of 3(3)A 250V~ at 50.000 electrical operations and. It has approvals according to ENEC and UL.
